Book writing and publishing are often isolated solitary endeavors. If this is a new business to you, you owe it to yourself to get coaching from me. Do not waste time trying to figure it all out for yourself (reinventing the wheel). Your time is too valuable. If you have been in publishing for a while, I can show you some surprisingly easy tricks that will take your business to the next level.
FEE SCHEDULE
I. Hourly rate: $150.00. For work done in the Sacramento Area or by telephone from anywhere in the world.
- Terms: Call (916) 474-9292 during normal office hours and provide your credit card numbers (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express). Payment may also be made via PayPal.
II. Monthly rate: $500.00. Includes weekly 60 min session plus unlimited consulting via email for one month.
- Terms: Monthly rate to be paid in advance. Payment by check, credit card or PayPal.
Speaking
Are you looking for a speaker for your next writers’ club meeting, seminar or publishing conference? I am available to speak on a variety of subjects including: book publishing, book production, internet marketing and social media. Hand-outs and training materials can be customized to meet the needs of your audience.

Flat-Rate Travel Expenses
Northern California: $300
Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Utah: $600
Rest of U.S. & Canada: $1,000
The flat-rate fees listed above include round-trip travel expenses from Sacramento to the venue and on-site meals, gratuities, and ground travel between the airport and the destination hotel.
Payment of Fee:
A 50% deposit is required to reserve the date with the balance due on the day of the event. Special considerations may be made for non-profit organizations.
Book Packaging and Production
Manuscript evaluations, editing, and ghostwriting: I work with competent editors and writers that are ready to do either a light copy edit or a comprehensive edit/rework of your manuscript. They can even write it for you. Let me help you create a manuscript that stands out from the competition.
Book cover design: The saying that you can’t judge a book by its cover is false! People are constantly judging a book by its cover. Like it or not, your cover can make or break your book. Invest in a cover that shouts “Read me!”
Interior design: Your book needs to look as good on the inside as it does on the outside. If you want your book to be a best seller then it needs to look like a best seller. I can format your book so that it appears that it came from a major publisher.
Comprehensive book production and project management: Are you one of those people that wants to control all aspects of your book but don’t have the time or inclination to guide the book project from inception through a finished product? That’s where I come in! I can guide and manage your project from raw manuscript to printed book.
